When Laura first walked into my studio, I tried not to behave like a complete idiot. She liked my work before she even knew that it was actually " my work ". How cool is that ?

Well... let me explain how things work here before I wander off on another tangent.

Meet Laura. This is your Original.

There is something uniquely fun about being in the presence of an original illustration. I love painting Lauras' Eyes, and would do this all day long for free if I did not have to eat. I decided that Laura's Eyes would be a nice way to introduce you to becoming my newest collector. Since each illustration is bladed and painted by hand, there is no point in adding a number to the edition size. Each one is unique.

After I paint yours, I am going to bump the price up a few " duckets " and keep doing this until we price ourselves out and away of the " reasonable " market.

Eventually, I will want for something new to paint and leave the future price up to the secondary market. (i.e The collector that is willing to sell out his / her original).

I've done more than one painting of this b e a u t i f u l girl, and I am looking forward to at least three more.
